Natible Achari Potato Chilla (Paratha-Style)

Ingredients

  • 2 boiled potatoes – mashed
  • 1 small onion – finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves – chopped
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
  • 1 cup Natible Achari Chilla Mix powder
  • Water – as needed (for batter consistency)
  • Oil – for cooking

Instructions

  • Prepare the Batter
    • In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, red chilli powder, ajwain, chopped onion, and coriander.

    • Add the Natible Achari Chilla Mix powder.

    • Pour water gradually, mixing well to form a thick, spreadable batter (not runny).

  • Cook the Chilla

    • Heat a tawa/pan on medium flame and drizzle a little oil.

    • Pour a ladle of batter and spread evenly in a round shape, like a paratha.

    • Cook on medium flame until the underside is crisp and golden brown.

    • Flip and cook the other side until golden and fully cooked.

  • Serve

    • Serve hot with curd, green chutney, or pickle.
